Cactus Jack’s rivalry with Eddie Gilbert in the northeast in the early 1990s is one of the things Mick Foley most credits with putting him on the map and opening doors in bigger and better places to advance his career.
Seven years later, a bona fide global star and then-current World Wrestling Federation star, Cactus returned to his roots to further a family rivalry, as he challenged Eddie’s younger brother Doug for the IWA World Title on February 7, 1998, just days after being thrown into a dumpster and pushed off of a stage on global television!
